As part of Edinburgh Science Festival 2026, add an adventurous egg trail to your Dynamic Earth admission! Travel through time and scour our exhibition to find out all about different kinds of eggs and the creatures that lay them: from corals and dinosaurs, to penguins and catsharks. Grab your free egg trail map at Dynamic Earth when you visit this April!

Who is this trail for? This trail can be enjoyed by all ages, but younger explorers may need a little help from their grown up!
Ticket: Add this trail for free when you purchase admission to the Dynamic Earth galleries. This trail can be added to your admission online or in-venue, and is available while stocks last.

Please be aware that this trail takes place within the Dynamic Earth galleries. This trail cannot be completed without purchasing an admission ticket. Existing Annual Pass and Membership holders can add this trail to their return visit tickets.
