As part of Edinburgh Science Festival 2026, visit Dynamic Earth for a day of activities with the British Geological Survey – the experts who specialise in knowing what’s happening in the earth beneath us. Have a conversation with a volcano expert, a deep sea mapper or a space weather forecaster. See some amazing displays and have a go yourself with hands-on activities to help you discover more about the secrets of the Earth.

Who is this event for? This event is for all ages.

This event is a free, drop-in session. No admission ticket is required, and visitors can take part in these activities without a Dynamic Earth admission ticket. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
