As part of Edinburgh Science Festival 2026, meet the researchers from Heriot-Watt University and Edinburgh Napier University that are using cutting-edge technology and expertise to address some of the challenges 21st century society faces. From robots and AI to health, nature and design, come and get hands-on with activities and demonstrations that are helping mend the world around us.

Who is this event for? This event is for all ages.

This event is a free, drop-in session. No admission ticket is required, and visitors can take part in these activities without a Dynamic Earth admission ticket. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
