QUIET AFTERNOON: APRIL 2026
Join us for a Quiet Afternoon on Sunday 26th April, from 2pm -5pm.
During our Quiet Afternoons, you will find reduced visitor numbers and a designated a quiet space for all to use. Additionally, all videos in our galleries will be captioned and the 4pm Planetarium show includes BSL interpretation.
Accessibility is essential to what we do at Dynamic Earth to allow everyone to discover understanding and empathy for the Earth. In addition to reduced capacity, our standard accessibility features include additional resources such as sensory bags, social stories, and sensory maps. Our staff undergo disability and neurodiversity awareness training, and we offer a wide range of sensory aids.
Further information on visitor accessibility can be found here. If there are any other adjustments we can make to facilitate your visit please get in touch with us at enquiries@dynamicearth.org.uk
If you have any questions or suggestions to improve our quiet afternoons please get in touch at enquiries@dynamicearth.org.uk
In addition to Quiet Afternoons, we also offer Relaxed Opening Hours Days, which have enhanced sensory and accessibility adjustments throughout the entire day. These include the same adjustments as our Quiet Afternoons, plus alterations to lighting and sounds, a sensory quiet room, and reduced capacity for the whole day.
