THE FOOD THE PRESENTS An Arctic Fox is a small canine, like a fox you might find in your garden, but adapted for the extreme cold of the Arctic - living at temperatures as low as -50 degrees . The fur of an Arctic Fox changes between seasons, helping it to camouflage! During winter they have bright white fur, helping them blend in with the snowy backdrop, but during summer months this changes to a light brown hue.

This Polar Protector is playful and cunning, with amazing endurance which Santa uses to give him strength through the night while delivering presents!

The Polar Bear is the largest of all the bear species, but are perhaps most well known for their white fur. Polar bear fur may look white, but it’s colourless! Each hair is hollow and transparent, and this reflects sunlight, giving polar bears their stunning white-or sometimes yellowish-appearance. This adaption allows them to blend in with their snowy environment!

This Polar Protector is bold and courageous, with amazing strength which helps Santa to navigate even the hardest of obstacles in his way on Christmas Eve!

The Snowy owl has white plumage and huge yellow eyes, allowing them to blend in to the extreme snowy environment they live in. This bird is perfectly suited to Arctic conditions, their feet are covered with feathers which helps keep them warm against the cold Arctic snow, a little bit like big fluffy slippers!

This Polar Protector is wise and watchful, with the ability to see everything around them in vivid detail making them the perfect protector to watch over Santa on his Christmas Eve flight.

The Arctic Hare is an amazing animal which is able to live in the harshest environments in the Arctic. These animals often dig shelters in the snow to protect themselves from the cold. During the summer months, Arctic Hares will lose their distinctive white coats and become a greyish-brown in colour, to blend in with the tundra.

This Polar Protector is alert and brave, with keen instincts and sharp hearing that help Santa to keep his course on Christmas Eve, even during stormy weather!
